reycoy
Hello everyone, After develop some time ago a website for a client, recently he has got back to me asking for some help. First of all, the client couldn´t login into the backend using the usual user and password, getting the following error: No data received Unable to load the web page because the server sent no data. Here are some suggestions: Reload this page later Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data. I fixed this problem overwriting the admin folder from a backup that I did some time ago. So, after that I´m able to access to the backend but for some strange issue, I´m seeing completely empty the catalog section. The frontend is working fine, without any kind of problem, but after get the backend the catalog section just display the backend menu without any content. So I can´t see the products structure. The rest of sections are looking good to me. Do you have any idea about this issue?, Could you please help me with any light about it? Sorry about my not very good english and thanks in advance. PurpleEdge
Make sure the version of the admin folder you uploaded is the same version as used on the website. Make sure the employee has access rights to the Catalog.
reycoy
Thanks PurpleEdge, If I´m not wrong the version of the admin folder is correct and besides I´m log in using an Administrator Account. The problem in this situation is that I´m not sure if someone changed some configuration while I wasn´t in charge of the website. Any other idea? What about the first error message? PurpleEdge
No, just my experience that I once uploaded the products.php (or some other file, can't remember which) file from the wrong verion and it stopped the backend catalog working. Restoring the correct version of the file I replaced fixed it.
