[ SOLVED ] pricing tiers are not working now?

I am using the Shipping by price (not by weight) rules. I have no idea why Prestashop is calculating shipping incorrectly. I have a 4 tiers of shipping costs based on total product pricing.

Product $$ Total Priority Maili up to $44.00 $ 7.90 $44.01 - 88.00 $ 10.90 $88.01-132 $ 14.95 $132.01-176 $ 19.95 $176.01+ $ 24.95

 

 

For now, my products are all $11.00 each. When I add 1, 2 or 3 units of a product, the shopping cart correctly calculates a $7.90 shipping fee. As soon as I increase the quantity to 4, the Product Total accurately shows $44.00 but the shipping incorrectly jumps to $24.95. I have uploaded a Word doc with some screen shots. Does anyone have any ideas?

That's because your price ranges have gaps in them. Ranges are exclusive/inclusive.............

 

From value1 up to but excluding value2, from and including value2 up to but excluding value3......

 

So in your example $44.00 falls into a gap and not included in your price range. In this case the shipping defaults to the cost of the highest defined range, which is $24.95

 

So prestashop is working exactly as it should.

 

Change your price ranges to:

 

$0 - $44.00 = $ 7.90

$44.00 - $88.00 = $10.90

$88.00 - $132 = $14.95

$132.00 - $176 = $19.95

$176.00 - $10,000 = $24.95

 

You should find it all works then.
