Missing sub-categories in BO catalogue

(If anyone has the same problem, I just figured it our after a few days tearing my hair out. It's the row "ID_Parent" in ps_Category. It needs to be set to 1 and then the product will show in the BO)

 

 

Hi, I'm having a problem in my BO catalogue. Only some of my categories are showing but when I go to FO and type the missing category number in the address-bar, the category displays.

 

It's like the categories exists but I just can't see them. They have products in them and so I can't just create a new category as these products are directly imported from Ingram Micro using the Wasato connector module.

 

I'll attach screen shots which may explain better. (FO screen shot is of category 2 /category.php?id_category=2) (BO Screen shot shows categories in ID descending order, for some reason it starts at category 26 so 1-26 are missing)

 

I have tried upgrading/replacing all prestashop files so I think it must be a database issue but I have no idea. Help!
