michaelj613 Posted November 23, 2011 Share Posted November 23, 2011 Hi everyone I am trying to figure out how to put subcategories in the homepage when it shows FEATURED PRODUCTS instead of having products In fact instead of having pictures and titles of products I would like to replace that by pictures and titles of subcategories I guess I have to edit something in homefeatured.tpl but further than that it just blurry I looked everywhere but could'nt find any answer on this particular task.... Have a look at http://stakehillnurseries.co.uk/ and see if that is what you are wanting to do. I placed the categories with pics and titles at the top of the page and followed that with the Featured Products. If I understand your post correctly you can do exactly what you are wanting to do. The only small difference is I'd like to put subcategories coz I have got a lot of them and very few categories (just 4)... So now I just found the module Home categories ( thanks btw) Since it's a proper module I guess one can check the option to display the subcategories?
