Consider replace FPDF with JasperReports Server

Hi,

I hope that in new version of PS will be possible edit an invoice or a shipment document with a visual tool.

 

I find JasperReport Server very interesting

is a visual tool that permit to create the structure of the final document. Passing this document and the datas to JasperReport Server is possible obtain many kind of documents, PDF included.

In this way anybody will be able to do an edit of any document without pray a developer to do it for him.

That may be an iffy issue.

 

To comply with EU regulations, some vendors will actually want invoices to be non-editable.

JasperReports is great, but it needs Java to produce reports

 

PrestaShop is intented to work on most hosting solutions where there is only the standard PHP installation, so it's out of scope.
