[SOLVED] problem reduction price or sale dont show on black&white theme

Hi,

I am searching on forum about this issue and trying to fix by myself, but it don prevailed.

I dont have any experienced on this.

here is the issue problem on black&white theme that dont show reduction price or sale on black&white theme.

original black&white theme:

Have you already tried switching back to the default PrestaShop theme to confirm that it is an issue with Black & White?

I am apologize for reply lately.

I dont know if there is an issue between original them prestashop and black&white theme.

because when i changed to original, it looks like :

the original theme prestashop dont have reduction price show on IMAGE but on description only.

 

on black&white theme, it is show title, old price and reduction on image.

Hi predot,

I'm taking a look at this, but unfortunately it appears that this theme is not designed to display products as "on sale" within the featured products block. Their demo has the same issue as your site, where your item is listed on sale under "reductions" and in product view, but does not give any indication of that on your home page.

so that's means black&white theme dont support sale on homepage featured,

but how about the link on category page:

it showed reduction price and old price and available only too.

 

i can managed to show available only like below :

but for price reduction still the issue

In that case, you will probably be better served contacting the developer directly, as they will be much more familiar with the inner workings of this theme.

hi guys,

after fail trying to contact developer about this issue. I managed to resolve the issue through reading the similiar solution on this forum, eventhough my solution to solve the problem is might different for other people.

 

NOTE: I am using black&white version 1.4 with prestashop 1.4.5.1

here is how to add "NEW TEXT" on your product list.

add the following code into your product-list.tpl (like my case i'm using black white theme, --> prestashop/themes/blackwhite/product-list.tpl :

 

{/if}{if isset($product.new) && $product.new == 1}<span class="new_product"><strong>{l s='New'}</strong></span>{/if}

 

this will result NEW TEXT WILL SHOW ON YOUR PRODUCT LIST !!!

 

and as to show ORIGINAL OLD PRICE CROSS WITH REDUCTION PRICE, YOU HAVE TO NOT TO MARK "Display "on sale" icon on product page and text on product listing" on your catalog product,

because if you DO MARK the icon "on sale" on your catalog product, Then product will only show the REDUCTION PRICE ONLY. (but your product detail description will still show ICON On SALE because your mark icon "on sale")

 

so :

mark "icon on sale" --> dont show cross original price, show reduction price only on product list, and ICON SALE on product detail description.

do not mark "icon on sale" --> show cross original price and reduction price, on product list but no ICON SALE on product detail description.

 

however we can display TEXT ON SALE into our product list (for ICON ON SALE i still dont know how ) on our image by adding the following code into your product-list.tpl:

<span class="new_product"><strong>{l s='On sale!'}</strong></span>

 

here i attach before and after product-list.tpl and the picture product.

Hi, I do not have the 'On sale' marked however the reduced price is not being displayed on my product listing.
