Problem with 'design furniture' theme

Hello,

 

1st post here so i apologise if this issue has been asked numerous times...

 

I'm trying to install the Design Furniture theme and have had to upload it manually.

 

The theme is up but the layout is all wrong. It looks like the left & right columns, along with the centre column are too wide for the page and hence, are all displaying on top of each other.

I've tried repositioning using the live editor but nothing fits.

 

Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

 

I understand i may be a little vague but I'm a complete novice with prestashop

edit.... when i initially installed the designfurniture theme, I unpacked the 'modules' folder into the modules folder on the live site, I unpacked the 'themes' folder in to tah folder on the live site and am not sure where the config file should go...

should this go in the top level (public_html) folder or elsewhere?

I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of reply to my problem.

 

The 'design furniture' theme is one we bought from Prestashop, assuming it would work seamlessly. Firstly it would not install with the installer, so I had to manually install it, and now it's not displaying properly.

 

Seeing as I'm asking for help with a prestashop theme, on the prestashop forum, i'd expect a little more support seeing as we have paid for this theme. If we cant get it working we will be seeking a full refund.

 

so if anybody out there is willing to help, I'd really appreciate it.

I think, u need to instal medule for menu, like Top menu module etc...

You should contact the developer. You can send him a message on addons.prestashop.com

The developer has the responsibility to resolve the problems you encountered with his theme.

The developers have since fixed it... it's amazing what happens when you say "I'd like a full refund" as opposed to "this doesn't work, can you help".
