Velvet Sky, few problems

I have a few problems installing the Velvet Sky theme. I love how it looks and works on the demo page and I'd like to modify it to my needs, but... I can't.

 

I've been following the installation guide included with the theme, but I have two problems:

1 - The JQuery Nivo Slider doesn't seem to work at all, both on the shop front page and in the admin panel:

 

2 - The Combo Slider on homepage thing looks... wrong, it doesn't load most of the images! The images are ok in the default Prestashop theme.

 

 

 

edit: solved... simple errors I could have looked up on these forums. I'd like to ask a moderator to delete this post!
