footer link changes

I want to remove the power by Presta shop copyrights at the footer.

 

 

I went to the themes/theme241/modules/blockcms/blockcms.tpl and editing it

 

below is the code I edited

 

After deleting the powered by presta shop copyrights text and html tag..still it shows in the webiste.

 

Please let me know what Im doing wrong

Hi,

 

go to back office>>Preference>>Performance. Click to "Yes" for "Force Compile" and click to "No" for "Cache".

 

Then refresh your site and you will see difference

I did that but still it is not showing at all....

Why not just go to Modules>Front office features> CMS block, configure and un-check the Display "Powered by Prestashop" option
