buggindave
Hello, You guys have helped me out a lot in the past, and it seems I need your help once more. My Prestashop (www.smallpetfeeders.com/presta) won't install any modules I've tried lately (2Checkout, Blocklivezilla, Fedex tracking, ect) and it's now getting to the point that I think there's something wrong. When I try to upload the zip file from my computer, it simply returns to the upload screen with a blank box when I click *Upload*. No confirmation of the install or anything, and when I check to see if the module is there, it isn't. I use the version 1.4.5.1 Thank you -Dave SPF
Dave L
I have found the module install feature problematic at best and much prefer to do it manually. Unzip the file on my pc and upload them to prestashop via FTP. When you unzip the file on your pc you may find thismodule/thismodule/module folders & files in which case the module will not show up in the module list. It should be thismodule/module folders & files May be worth checking out.
buggindave
Thank you for your reply. I tried that, and no luck. Still wont install. Even if I do it manually. Any other ideas?
buggindave
So I thought that my modules just weren't uploading through the backoffice when I wrote my previous thread. When I went to try to upload them "manually" by uploading the unzipped module folder into the /modules/ folder, it started bringing up "Would you like to overwrite?" So it HAS been uploading my modules from Backoffice, but for whatever reason, they won't show up in the module list in backoffice. Why is this?? jhnstcks
Topics merged together Only need one topic please. Have you tried resetting the filtering on the modules page? Also try searching for the module, maybe it is there you just don't see it.
