Update Paypal module

Hi,

 

sometimes I get an 10413 error message from the paypal module. I am not sure if this is related to a certain product or something else, as i could not "connect" the error with a customer or a purchase.

 

I found a thread where it says, error 10413 is fixed by version 2.8 of the paypal module (I have 2.4 running on Prestashop 1.4.3).

 

Now my question is - is that correct? And how can I update?

 

Do I just have to disable paypal in the backend and then extract the files from 2.8 into the "old" Paypal modules folder?

And then enable paypal in back office again?

 

If this is the case, are all settings like paypal api preserved? Or do I have to enter all that information again?

I'm having problems with Paypal too. However I did upgrade succesfully to 2.8.5 last night. It kept the api settings, I didn't have to disable it first. I simply uploaded the zip by clicking on the "Add a module from my computer" link on the modules page.
