Login Problem when trying to enable SSL

Hope some can help.

 

Firstly, can anyone confirm if Prestashop can be used with a shared SSL? I can't seem to find a definitive answer.

 

I've installed the latest version, 1.4.5.1 and I am using a shared SSL which i have set up in SEO&URLS section of the BO.

 

However, when i select Please click here to use HTTPS protocol before enabling SSL. and then try to re-log back in it wont happen, the page just refreshes showing the log-in form again, no errors or warnings. I just can't get back into the BO.

 

I've searched and read about solutions for similar problems to mine but they don't seem to work in this instance.

 

Anyone have any ideas?
