FutureLED
Hi, I have a problem with customer address, when a customer tries to do a change of address on their account which requires a 'State', the 'State' field doesn't show and an error is displayed stating "This country requires a state selection" I am at a loss as how to fix, can anyone help. Thanks allan
Dave L
It's possible that the country USA has Contains states enabled but the address format on the same page doesn't include the state field.

So any idea how to fix?, if you make up an account on www.futureled.ie and then try to change address you will see the problem. Dave L
Just made an account on your site. I used a Thailand address and it registered fine. I also received the email notification. Then tried to update, I change to Ireland and Co.Louth. Instead of it updating the existing address it created a new one. I tried to update again, this time used USA and Alaska, same thing. Instead of updating it added it as a new address. I didn't get the error message per your first post on any of them. However, there does remain a problem. The update link leads to the same page as the Add an Address link. Have you modified one of the address core files?
FutureLED
No adjustments have been made to any core file.
Dave L
Could you try switching to the default theme to see if the problem still exists. I don't know what else would cause this.
