Mehdi72 Posted November 16, 2011 Share Posted November 16, 2011 Hi During the Optional set-up this had a cross next to it : PHP magic quotes option is off (recommended) According to a post on another forum to turn magic quotes off I need to add two lines of php to the php.ini file only problem is I don't seem to have one? Where is it? I've checked the root of pretashop install folder and the admin folder but it's not there. I have connected to my database and the back and front office without any problems but I want to turn magic quotes off to avoid problems further on. Mike Kranzler Posted November 16, 2011 Share Posted November 16, 2011 Hi Mehdi, If you do not personally have access to the php.ini file, just give GoDaddy a call and ask them to change that value for you. Mehdi72 Posted November 24, 2011 Author Share Posted November 24, 2011 Hi I made one myself and then could not install new themes. I did a clean install three times - same problem.
