reinoplantae
Hello friends, well... my website was working perfectly when SUDDENLY i got 2 errors without changing anything. One is with adding and deleting items from cart and i need to disable the Ajax to work properly, but it's another thing. The other error is the one i want to discuss here: at the top of the page appears this strange symbol: (a black little balloon with a white ? symbol inside). This symbol is "pushing" the header, modifying the layout structure and messing up the whole initial page. I can't modify this through the css files. Link of my website: www.reinoplantae.com ... come into to see the strange symbol at the top. What it can be and have must be done?? My PS version: 1.4.4.1 Thank you very much! musicmaster
If I look at your HTML it is totally at the beginning, before even the <html> tag. Might it be that you changed the config.inc.php or another file that does not have real content and accidentally left the char while editing. reinoplantae
Hello musicmaster, yes, i saw it at the beginning of html... but as i said, it appeared SUDDENLY ... i didn't any change in any files nor in the BO. It appeared by itself. I've done a full reupload of all the files and the problem initially was gone, but it appeared again .. without doing any modifications.... suddenly. Carl Favre
Hi reinoplantae, I think I have already encountered the same problem with another member. It was caused by a module. Try to disable one by one all the modules you may have added to find the culprit !
musicmaster
Maybe you can find out which file causes the problem: either by partial uploading the files or by downloading everything and looking. The file involved might also have a recent change date. Those three things (file name, the place where it is changed and the change date) together might give you some clues were to look for the cause. reinoplantae
Carl, maybe the search module?? but i already tried to disable and also uninstall this module, and no changes at all.... I'm almost sure that it's a javascript, ajax or smarty problem .. or a combination of both... because together this error there is the add/delete to cart error too. Musicmaster, yep friend, thanks for the tips... it's basic procediments that i already have checked... have tried to reupload, modify or anything else that most recent files .... but no changes. maybe a problem OUT of the public_html folder?? theme_designer
Did you install any non-english module or plugin?
reinoplantae
Yes, one or two brazilian modules.... but the issue didn't appear right after i installed them. And i've tried to uninstall all the modules i installed, but no changes!!!! ... that's boring me, and i can't find nobody with the same issue... even searching and searching.. musicmaster
reinoplantae, you wrote before that after a full reupload of all the files the problem initially was gone. I would suggest to do such an re-upload in steps - one directory at a time - to find a the culprit.
