lesone
Hello, Is there any way if I click to a field on category box can be linked to other URL and not to a product? Thanks.
Mike Kranzler
Hi lesone, Just to make sure I'm understanding you correctly before looking into this, can you please give me a specific example of how you would like this to work? -Mike
Mike Kranzler
But assuming you just want to have one of your categories redirect to an external link, you'll just need to make minor edits to your modules/blockcategories/category-tree-branch.tpl I hope this helps. -Mike
Carolina Custom Designs
I would suggest using an addon Top Menu instead of blockcategories. This way you can add the links very easily. Hope that helps! Marty Shue

I would like to have a menu entry which I can link to a CMS page I created in PS. simple but nonetheless not offered so far, at least for my PS version... Hi Pippo, If you upgrade to our latest version, you can use the preview version of what will be our new default theme starting with version 1.5. In this theme, as Marty mentioned, you can use the "Top Horizontal Menu" module which will make that process much simpler for you. I hope this helps. -Mike
lesone
Hi lesone, Just to make sure I'm understanding you correctly before looking into this, can you please give me a specific example of how you would like this to work? -Mike Well as people and you posted on this thread my intention is to create a link like "visit our partners", would be nice too if I can put it in the top Menu bar. I'm using PrestaShop™ 1.4.5.1. Thanks!!
Mike Kranzler
Hi lesone, If you're already using version 1.4.5.1, you can use the new theme I linked to above and add anything to your top menu through the Top Horizontal Menu module. I hope this helps. -Mike
