[MODULE] Prestashop to Wordpress issues

Recommended Posts

Hello,

15 days ago I bought this module on the website of PrestaStore, I tested the module in different versions of Prestashop and Wordpress, developed and undeveloped and not working. This is why it took more than 15 days trying to talk to the developer of this module by mail through the web form PrestaStore, and does not answer. I also contacted Prestashop, but I say wait for the developer to answer, frankly I'm tired of waiting for days and days without any solution and not contact the developer samples.

Prestashop not love me back the money, so ... What do I have? a module does not work and no refund of what I paid for it. I do not know as I shall call you but I see a SWINDLE!!!

I was not expecting that Prestashop I was disappointed

That said, I am having real trouble getting the css on the cart block to work properly, but the main problem is that it uses flash, so it's a real no-go for my customers.

I have contacted Prestashop for a refund. Fingers crossed!

To be fair, I have STILL not received any contact from the addons team, and today I have had to contact you directly only to be told that I now need to call your COO in the US.

The price of modules from Prestashop Addons are generally quite steep, but I expected that you had the benefit of them being 'approved' and superior support from the Prestashop team.

I have bought a number of modules from independent dealers who largely go way beyond the call of duty to be helpful. Whilst I wasn't expecting quite the same response from PS, something within two weeks would have expected.

Hello Lem,

Mike suggested in private that you contact me at my request. I am very concerned with your satisfaction, and the idea was for me to chat with you to determine the optimum solution to ensure that you receive good service moving forward. For example, we would have been happy to get a developer to fix this issue for you if that would have been preferable to a refund.

The modules that are sold on the PrestaShop Addons store are a service that we offer both to the merchant and the community as a whole. The community submits and tests the modules and determines the individual prices; PrestaShop does not set prices.

With that being said, I believe that offering to have you contact me so that I can better understand your needs was a very appropriate response to help you get the best possible customer service.

I would also like to understand the root issue with this module that is causing you problems, so that we could potentially improve the module for all of our users by fixing whatever is causing you this problem.

I hope that you are able to see that we are not trying to give you the runaround and send you to multiple people who cannot help you, but rather were taking the necessary steps to help you find the best solution to your problem. Please email Mike with the receipt for your purchase from our Addons store and we will work with you to determine how to proceed from here.

Regards,

Matt

Chief Operating Officer

PrestaShop, Inc.

Hi Matt,

I'll give you a call when I'm at the office tomorrow. It's just been a little exasperating for what should be a simple process.

My only real problem with the module (as per my original email) is that it uses flash (rather bizarrely) to read the data from PS. We get a lot of hits from iOS devices, upon which this module doesn't work so it's not an ideal implementation for my clientèle.

No big deal I thought, I'll get a refund and do something else with that section of my Wordpress theme. It's something that we occasionally deal with in our own shop - someone buys something that wasn't quite what they wanted when it turns up.

Quite happy to discuss with you, but I'm not requesting anything remotely out of the ordinary. I applied for my refund within 7 days of purchase as per UK and EU distance selling regulations. This seems to getting slightly blown out of proportion - All I want is the refund I originally requested.
