applecart_girl
Hi there, hoping someone can help with my pricing/cross-selling dilema ... I know that you can offer discounts when purchasing multiples of the one product, but I'd like to offer a 'combo' type deal where-by if you purchase product 'A' in this Category and also product 'B' in this Category, then a discount of $_ will automatically be applied to the products at checkout. Can anyone help with this? Perhaps there is a reasonably priced module I could use? Thanks in advance! .
olea
I propose the maxi-promos module that may help you. You will be able to define "discount of $X (or X%) for each product of catB associated to a product of catA"
Mike Kranzler
Hi applecart_girl, One of the most popular modules in our entire Addons store is our Advanced Pack 4 module, which should be exactly what you are looking for. If you have any question about this module or any other, please just let me know! -Mike
applecart_girl
Thank you both! Mike, I have looked at the module you have suggested before .. will this enable me to create a 'pack/combo' using existing stock levels ie. I don't want to list products individually, and then have to keep stock aside for 'pack' inventory as well. So, I guess I just want to check, if someone purchases a 'pack/combo' of 2 items, will they come off of the total inventory for those individual products?? Many thanks Mike :-)
Mike Kranzler
Hi applecart_girl, Have you tried out the demo listed at the bottom of that product listing? -Mike
applecart_girl
Another quick question .... For ease of reordering products and checking my stock levels, I'd like to be able to see how many of each 'size' for example, I have left in a product. Currently I have to go into each individual product and click on the 'combinations' tab to view the stock sizes that I have left, otherwise I view directly from the website, but again I have to go to each individual product. Alternatively, I can do a search in the BO and it will show me the stock levels ie. If I have one product, for example, a baby blanket - my inventory shows '5'. However for another product, a baby romper - my inventory shows '8' but there are actually 3 different sizes available for this product and I am out-of-stock in 2 of them. Any ideas?? What do others do about checking stock levels?? Thanks!

Mike Kranzler
Hi applecart_girl, I actually noticed this yesterday afternoon as well, and checked with our Addons team. Usually, when this sort of situation happens it is because the developer is updating the module to a newer version. It wasn't anything initiated by our team, so my guess is that it should be back soon enough. It wasn't due to anything on our end, so my guess is it should be up again soon . -Mike
