preerp10
Where to begin... 1.) I need to add a captcha or similar device to the contact form. There's a captacha module but it's for older versions and won't work. I'm using 1.4. If I can figure out how or where to edit or insert some code maybe I can add something there. 2.) The contact block has some verbiage in there that I need to change but I can't seem to find where to change it. Like the bit that says "hotline is available 24/24 " 3.) On the bottom, of the page (I'm using the prestashop new theme) there is a block there for more contact information. I want to take out "email" and instead put a link to the contact form. Is this possible and if so, how? 4.) "Subject heading" in the stock contact form makes you choose between customer service and webmaster. Can I change these options and is there a way to make it select one of the options by default or just take this out altogether? 5.) I want to add more information under the contact us block such as business hours and on the contact infos block on the bottom, I'd like to put more links. How do you edit that block to add links? 6.) (I'm just reminding myself to mark solved)
preerp10
2,3 & 5 from above are solved now by editing the TPL file and enabling force compile in backoffice > performance - smarty That leaves 1 & 4.

You can take care of #4 in your BO. Go to Employees>Contacts and you can change these (or delete them) to whatever you want. You can also add more if you need other options. Hope that helps! Dave L
Did you look for it in Modules>Other modules ? When you find and install it then go to configure to reveal a piece of code to insert in your contact-form.tpl in the place you would like the slider to show. The only thing I see in there is the other captcha module that I mentioned but don't see the slider. Is there a way to add the google recaptcha to this contact form or no? Mike Kranzler
Hi everybody, I know there was another, more recent post on issue #2, but since I can't find it at the moment, I wanted to pop on here and let you know that the "24/24" issue is being fixed on our new theme as we speak, and should be committed to SVN shortly. I'll come back on here just to confirm once it has been finished, but in the meantime I just wanted to let you know that your comments do not go unnoticed, so thank you for bringing this to our attention. -Mike
