Melster
Hi Am hoping to get my website up and running properly tonight so sorry for all the posts. I have set up Paypal using the Wiki instructions but when I run throught the checkout process when I click on the option to pay with PayPal I get the following error code: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. ------------------------------------ I have looked on the Vidahost cPanel and get this error: [Fri Nov 11 20:42:59 2011] [error] [client 31.185.154.123] File does not exist: /home/dogactiv/public_html/500.shtml, referer: http://flyballstuff.co.uk/order.php HELP ! Puddleuk
I had the exact same issue and after a little research I found the solution. Basically you need to change the permissions for the module folder from 777 to 755. after that enter the modules folder and change the paypal folder permission to 755, open the PayPal folder and change all the files in that also to 755 and finally go to the payments folder and change those to 755. Everything should work fine after that.
Melster
Hi Unfortunately I have already found and tried that solution but it hasn't worked for me. EDIT: After contacting my host it did turn out to be the '777' problem. I had just changed the Paypal folders not realising I had to change all of them.
