Barracuda
Hi all, Instead of a page with specials or new products, I want to make a page with all the products that are out of stock. The plan was to remake a list-page, but I have the problem that I can not list the OoS products. Has anyone already such page, or is there a module, I have search for a while, but did'nt find one. Hope that someone can help me?
Mike Kranzler
Hi Barracuda, It may not be the most elegant solution, but you could always create an "Out of Stock" category and then move your products over to it in the Catalog section of your Back Office any time one of them goes out of stock. I hope this helps. -Mike
Barracuda
Hi Mike, yes thats also possible....but I like more a page in the header. That page isn't the problem, only the code is the problem. I try and try, but no out of stock list. If there is no solution, is your option a good one.... Thanks for your help, sofar. Mike Kranzler
Well what theme are you using? If you're using the new 1.5 theme on version 1.4.5, you can create the category page and then add it to the "Top Horizontal Menu" module to achieve something pretty close to what you're looking for. -Mike
Barracuda
I using a older theme, and using 1.3.3 (still) Yes thats a good option. But I like it better to add some code in a existing page (such newproducts.php / .tpl) and list in stead of the new products, the ooS products... I search further, and if I found nothing more, is your option a good idea :-) Thanks.
