[SOLVED] julien breux menu - categories appearing twice in menu

i'm using the jullien breux horizontal menu to put top level categories and then creating all my sub categories in the prestashop catalog

 

i've been having the problem that the top level categories are appearing twice in the menu (see screen shot attached)

 

does anyone know how to stop this from happening ??

 

 

 

actually i've just seen that this is because i had the top level categories in the prestashop catalog as well as the julien breux menu - i originally did this because the JB menu doesn't show the product quantity next to the category title

so my question be does anyone know how to remove the product quantity from the category in the menu ??

You have asked this in two separate posts which you really should avoid doing.

 

I have asked in your other post which menu this is only to find in this post you have stated which one it is.

 

In answer to your question go to Modules>Menu to get to the menu configuration.

 

Down on the right hand side there is an option for Num. prod. categories. Set this to No.

 

If this answers your question you can edit the title of both posts with the [solved] pre-fix.
