Import wizard falling over with no error

I have been trying to import some products into a site and it gets so far but then seems to fall over. No error message and all i get is the screenshot attached.

 

There does not seem to be anything in the product list that it should be tripping over on. I have split into 3 files for each category i am trying to import. Even with 20 or so products in each it still only imports at most 10 products.

 

How can i troubleshoot this? Latest version of software installed.

I have found out what the issue is. The url field is the one that it is sticking on. Not sure if it needs a file to exist where it is looking for it or it has some issue with the file it is linking to. I have managed to get it to work by deleting the entries that have "invalid filenames" in them.

 

It would have been good if the url entries were imported even if the links did not work because the file was not there. The lack of error messages was very poor and no log entry either. I was lucky in finding a solution by trial and error but there should have been more info when it errored out.
