Franknstein
Hi all I've been successfully using my prestashop shop for a couple months now, and the software is very good. I am very happy with my site. However, I've just recently had an issue, with the stats dashboard. It seems to be a bug, and if this is posted in the wrong place, please let me know how to resolve this in the correct method. Basically, over the last few days, the stats for visits/orders for each day, are being duplicated and giving me false information, please see the attached screen shot. You will see in the red box, note the duplication of previous date entries. Any ideas on how to resolve this? I have searched and not found anyone else with a similar issue. my version of PS is 1.4.4.1 many thanks
Mike Kranzler
Hi Franknstein, This is likely an issue with your statsforecast.php file. Please try replacing it with the SVN version here and let me know if that resolves your issue. I hope this helps. -Mike
Franknstein
Hi Mike Thanks for the quick reply. I have replaced the file in the /modules/statsforecast/statsforecast.php with the one you have sent, however its made no noticable change as yet, would it rectify stats from now on? or should it have resolved those last four lines of data instantaneously? Also, I noticed the stats used to update in real time, but around a month into using the site stats, it would only show data for the day on the day after - if you get what I mean - is there a way of having them real-time again? Many thanks once again. R Actually, having just looked at it again, it seems to be worse now... see attached screen shot. Its even logging loads of sales and registrations where there actually havent been any too, which is quite odd.
Mike Kranzler
Hi R, Have you cleared your Smarty Cache via FTP already? -Mike
Franknstein
Mike, I've just updated that post with a screenshot. Not cleared smarty cache.. do I do that in the BO? thanks
Mike Kranzler
Mike, I've just updated that post with a screenshot. Not cleared smarty cache.. do I do that in the BO? thanks The most comprehensive way to do it is via FTP in your tools/smarty/cache directory. Delete everything EXCEPT the index.php file, and see if that helps you out. If it doesn't though, I would recommend that you check back tomorrow, considering that your stats have been arriving the following day lately anyway. If you have any additional questions, just let me know! -Mike
Franknstein
Hi Mike Thanks again. Here is the screenshot of all the files in that cache folder...I cannot even see an index.php file in there, so thought I'd run it by you... Any idea why the stats only update on the day after now? Must be my website host server right?
Mike Kranzler
Go ahead and clear them all out. As for the stats, I can't say for sure because I don't have much experience with that specific module and my test environments for helping identify issues and solve problems don't get many sales which could give me daily statistics . Hopefully this will all be settled by tomorrow though. -Mike
Franknstein
ok thanks Mike, I'll see what it does in the morning - thanks for your help.
Mike Kranzler
ok thanks Mike, I'll see what it does in the morning - thanks for your help. I was actually just coming back to post that you should also delete everything but index.php in tools/smarty/compile. Once you've done that, we should hopefully see some good results tomorrow! -Mike
Franknstein
Ok, checked in this morning, still seems to be problematic... see attached screenshot...
Mike Kranzler
Hi Franknstein, I've got a developer who is going to look into this for you and a couple other users. Can you please PM me with your FTP login credentials? -Mike
Franknstein
I noticed this afternoon that my ftp server time was out by 1 hour - (we've had a clocks change in the UK on Oct 30th by 1hour)... They have just corrected the issue and the time is now correct on the server as of right now. DO you think this could have something to do with it? Also, my host moved my website to a different server on 23rd of October. many thanks
