lze
I have Prestashop 1.4.0 and I found and installed Home Text editor in order to have central module in front end. However still no change. Do I need to configure it too? If yes, how? Or anything else?
Mike Kranzler
Hi lze, Can you please PM me with your Back Office and FTP login credentials? I would like to look into this for you. -Mike
Mike Kranzler
Hi lze, While I cannot confirm that this may be part of the issue until I change it, I noticed that you never changed your admin directory or deleted the install folder, and our system should have prevented you from even accessing your front or back office until these are taken care of. With your permission, I will take care of that for you before doing anything else on your site, so please let me know. Once I change the admin link, I will PM you with the new details as well. -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Hi tehseen, In lze's case, the issue was that he never deleted the "Install" folder before trying to work on his site. This is required for security reasons and he should've been blocked from doing anything until he had done so, but since that didn't appear to happen, it caused issues later on in the process. Can you please check your FTP folder to ensure that you've deleted your install directory and renamed the "admin" folder? -Mike
