Nicolaj
Hello, the frontend in prestashop on www.climatetech.info/prestashop is not working. When asked to show shop in backend - command returns a blank page and no error. Mysql is working on host. I guess settings.inc.php is well configured. I have searched the forum for a possible answer. ????? Best
Mike Kranzler
Hi Nicolaj, Is this a brand new installation, or is this an existing shop which just stopped working recently? -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Hi Nicolaj, I already sent you a PM about this, but you did not send me the FTP host information, so I am unable to look into this for you yet. -Mike
Mike Kranzler
Hi Nicolaj, I just took a look at this for you, and it is a permissions-based issue. When I enabled the error log in your config.inc.php file, this is what I got for your Front Office: I tried to change these permissions for you, but you do not have the necessary rights through your hosting provider. Please contact them directly and tell them that you need to edit the permissions for all the files within tools/smarty/sysplugins to 777, and they should be able to take care of it for you. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to let me know. I hope this helps, Mike
Nicolaj
Thank you - now I have set the permissions in the relevant folder to 777 - but the shop is still not working. I have searched the prestashop cpanel and the web on how to enable the error log - can anyone help me out with the error log setup as I can´y understand how to use it? Mike Kranzler
Hi Nicolaj, You can enable the error log by editing your config/config.inc.php file to @ini_set('display_errors', 'on') I hope this helps. -Mike
