Lindsayanng Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 This is all very confusing to me. I had tested the coupon codes numerous times before this site went live in August. Since then there have been no real changes in the function of the cart and everything that was cosmetic was not in that area of the site. What's happening: I can create a new voucher code in the admin, set all the settings to allow the code to be used by anyone on anything with no limitations. I also have the checkbox to show in cart summary checked. When I enter the coupon code the page refreshes and.. nothing. No error, NOTHING.. it's driving me crazy. I wanted to check to see if it just wasn't showing in the summary so I continued to the payment page and even there the coupon code was not applied. I looked in the files to see if there was a hack attempt, but there was not/ I ran a javascript debug, and most times it tells me something, but there were only warnings, no errors - and I believe that the warnings were there before as a part of the prestashop core. This is the warning: Use of getAttributeNodeNS() is deprecated. Use getAttributeNS() instead. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mike Kranzler Posted November 2, 2011 Share Posted November 2, 2011 Hi Lindsay, I just took a look at this and it looks like there are a couple issues: First of all, now that you've added the "Complete Racks" category to your store, you need to update all of your various vouchers to be applicable to that new category as well. But more importantly, you need to make sure to add a non-zero value to "Total Quantity" and "Qty per user" in order for them to be available for use by customers. I just went through the coupon codes that were created and made sure that the QTY per user was set to 0 and it already was.. If you are offering each customer zero vouchers, they will not work for anyone. So I have figured out the problem/ I had to change the QTY per user to a non 0 integer AND the Total Quantity to something like 9999 - which I thought was supposed to be set to 0 for null. Daydreams Posted November 8, 2011 Share Posted November 8, 2011 A similar thing has happened to me, we recently updated to 1.4.4.1 and now our discount codes, which were working without hitch before, aren't working. I don't think you can set a decimal as a minimum quantity, but it is strange that you're also having issues with that value set to 0. We've had a few reports of this, but a quick reinstall of the latest version of the software resolved it for them. You can see a previous thread on this here.
