Default carrier issue

Recommended Posts

I have 3 carriers:

carrier 1 and carrier 2 on zone A

carrier 1 and carrier 3 on zone B

If I made carrier 3 as default carrier and I am in zone A, appears carrier 1 and 2, which is ok, I can make the order, but if I am in my account and I want to make another order, it says: hack attempt: there is no default carrier.

Well, it's ok if I make carrier 1 as default, because it works in both zones, but I want to make carrier 2 as default in zone A and carrier 3 as default in zone B.

Is it possible?

What zone is this other account?

Do you clear your cookies, especially the back office login cookie between tests?

All carries that are enabled, meet the weight/range conditions for the cart, allowed for the customer's group and zone will be available for selection at checkout. If one of those is is a carrier used during a previous checkout then it will be selected as default, if not, the default carrier selected in Back Office > Shipping > Carriers > Carrier options will selected as default, so basically no... not out of the box, there may be a module for it. if you want a default carrier for each zone, set one carrier per zone. Customer can always change the selected carrier though when multiple carriers are available; maybe you have something in mind I don't understand correctly.
