solepixel
I'm having the same problem as this user, however none of the fixes in the thread resolved my problem:http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/11760/general_discussion/solved_not_uploading_imagesI have GD enabled, file_upload turned on, max_file_size set to 6M, a TMP directory setup, GD enabled, yet I still get the empty page (besides the nav) after uploading an image (which is under 2MB). What could be the problem?
solepixel
Reading the error logs, this is what happens after trying to upload:[sun Mar 01 19:50:55 2009] [error] File does not exist: /home/...domain.../img/p/10-53-large.jpg[sun Mar 01 19:50:55 2009] [error] File does not exist: /home/...domain.../img/p/10-53-medium.jpg[sun Mar 01 19:50:53 2009] [error] File does not exist: /home/...domain.../img/p/10-53-small.jpg[sun Mar 01 19:50:51 2009] [error] File does not exist: /home/...domain.../img/p/10-53-large.jpg[sun Mar 01 19:50:51 2009] [error] File does not exist: /home/...domain.../img/p/10-53-medium.jpg[sun Mar 01 19:50:43 2009] [error] File does not exist: /home/...domain.../img/p/10-53-small.jpgSo i'm guessing the problem is a resizing issue or a folder permissions issue. I will double check this and report back.
solepixel
Ok. The permissions on /img/p/ are set to 777, I tried selecting Manual instead of Automatic for the Thumbnail creation option, but that didn't make a difference. It obviously has something to do with the thumbnail creation or file moving. Does anyone have an idea how to resolve this issue? It's very frustrating. solepixel
Wow, Really?? That's unfortunate. Any client I'd ever consider using this for has no means (or knowledge) of resizing photos. 9 out of 10 times they're going to come straight off a digital camera. This is sad news. Unfortunately, I have been forced to move away from PrestaShop for the time being. Maybe when they have a few more versions under their belt, I can come back, but I was hoping for something quick easy and clean for my client to use to manage their online store, but there just aren't enough plugins (such as UPS/USPS Shipping) and too many bugs. I tried this for about a month and just can't hand this over to my client. Thanks.
