Optim'Informatique
You can' import product tables directly because format have changed ( tax management has changed, fields are not the same ). I have developed a module to export product ( it works with the import, in order to edit fields more easily ). I think I can adapt it for you, then you should be able to get your old products and categories in the new shop. Best regards

But if I want to import my customer info, product info and sales stats is it easier to somehow make an update from 1.3 to 1.4? The problem I have is that I can't get hold of a version 1.3 install anywhere and the new 1.4 version of my shop that is under development is on a new server. Maybe your module helps with that?
