How import only categories and products to PS1.4.5.1 from PS1.3.6

I need urgently import only the old tables of the database of Categories and Products from old PS1.3.6 to PS1.4.5.1

 

1) What are these tables to export from phpmyadmin?

2) How should import in phpmyadmin only those old tables of PS1.3.6 in the database of the new PS 1.4.5.1?

3) Is necessary delete the tables of PS1.4.5.1 for can import the same tables of PS1.3.6?

You can' import product tables directly because format have changed ( tax management has changed, fields are not the same ).

I have developed a module to export product ( it works with the import, in order to edit fields more easily ). I think I can adapt it for you, then you should be able to get your old products and categories in the new shop.

I'm very interested in a module like this too.

 

But if I want to import my customer info, product info and sales stats is it easier to somehow make an update from 1.3 to 1.4?

 

The problem I have is that I can't get hold of a version 1.3 install anywhere and the new 1.4 version of my shop that is under development is on a new server.

 

Maybe your module helps with that?

If you want to get all your 'old' infos, the easier is to update.
