vizualinfo
I have a client who wants to be able to mark a category as displayed = false and for the products under this category to then not be found on the site by links on Google products list or through search with in the prestashop application. Does this functionality already exists? Currently when we mark a category as displayed = false we can still find the products when we search for them. This is allowing customers to find seasonal items that are no longer offered but will be next year. any recommendations? Thanks, Thomas http://vizualinfo.com

vizualinfo
no, customer wants to be able to disable products from being discovered when they mark a category displayed = false. how do you hide/disable products in an entire category with out going to each one manually and marking them as complete. Donivian
I would really like to know the answer to this as well. I do not want products to be found if the category they are in is disabled and I really need to be able to disable products by category or else I will have to go through hundreds of products one by one disabling them and re-enabling them when I have made it so I can sell those items. Please help!?
