T-bird
I've been having a problem with Prestashop ever since I upgraded from 1.3 to 1.4.1 and all subsequent upgrades since then. Many changes I make in the front or back office just will not work. All the text disappeared from the Home text editor and when I try to put it back in it always says "settings updated successfully" - but the text is just not there! The homepage logo displays and the header is there, but no text. When I try the reset or disable option for the Home text editor module it throws the error; "Cannot uninstall module" yet the module is then shown as not installed. When I reinstall again it throws an error and says it can't be installed, even though it then shows as reinstalled. Similarly adding information to the Stores page does not show up in the front office and several other pages won't accept changes either. Adding products seems to work fine though and changing the info in the CMS pages also seems to work. I've checked folder permissions and they're all set to 755. I've tried re-uploading the relevant xml & tpl files but still no joy, even though the information is in them. When I check the page source the information is not there however. Any thoughts on what's going on and how I can fix it? This problem is driving me mad! Thanks, Andy www.thunderbirdmodels.co.uk
muktadir
Did you upload the new modules, too?
T-bird
Yep, and I added all the new files from the Prestahop theme to my own. Still no joy....
