Create "send a product request" form

Hi,

 

I'm new to Prestashop, but already quite pleased by the system.

 

I need my clients to be able to send a request for more info on a certain product, something like the "sendtoafriend" module, but a little transformed - the message should be sent not to a friend's email address, but to mine, maybe also add a phone number, that's all. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Create an account with Google Docs

Create a new Google Docs form, create/set the form fields as necessary, save the form.

Get the code to embed the form

On the record of the product in question, long description, change to HTML view and paste in the code you got from Google Docs.

The responses of form submission will be collated in your Google Docs account in a spreadsheet (private to you by default but can be shared if you want).
