nelram
PS 1.4.4.1 Standard theme Site: www.sayitonabanner.com Problem: In the checkout page I am getting broken https. Had my host check and they said that everything is ok on their end. Their suggestion was to make an htaccess file like this: http://www.besthostratings.com/articles/force-ssl-htaccess.html I tried that with no luck, now they are telling me that there is a link that is not https on the page and to open it up in IE and check between showing and not showing the unsecure part of the page and I will be able to figure it out. I don't see any difference when I do that. I am pulling my hair out here... Anyone have any suggestions?
nelram
I have turned everything off in the hooks for the page "order-opc.php" It looks like the only links on the page that are linked to non https pages are: My store logo Under the "My Account" block the only non https is the "sign out" At the top of the page "Log out" The site navigation link to go back to the home page. I have no idea how to change any of these things. Anyone out there who can help?
msk69
most of time it is caused due a bad writen 3rd party module. You can check the page source and search for http:// when you are on a secure page like contact form.
gkontos
From a quick look at your registration page, which is served over https, it looks like all your menu links are being served over http. Try using relative links instead of absolute.

At least IE8 tells me to show none secured content and then it appears. Btw., Firefox and Opera do this by default... mh.. Anyway, what is the best practice to hunt down the culprit. Can I, as someone who knows how to open tpl php and css files ^^^but who is no programmer cure this? Are there tools or firefox/chrome addons that can help? The given site is: www.gruenes-spielzeug.de and passwords are: Boris & Boris1 I hope this informations stays confidential
Dh42
What menu module are you using? If you can attach the template file for it, I can change it to detect ssl for you.

erginaktasw
Hi, I have prestashop 1.4.9.0 website working properly. Now i bought and installed SSL to my apache server. However, I cannot enable SSL at BO. When I click "Please click here to use HTTPS protocole before enabling SSL" system turns http to https and gives error 107 (net::ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR) Do i have to do another settings after SSL installed to server and before enabling it at BO. Please Help

erginaktasw
So it should show SSL without doing any config on codes? Host says it gives error because you have not made settings. They are playing around?
Dh42
You should be able to directly access resources with ssl if it is turned on. Like say an image file, you should be able to type the address in http or https and access it both ways. They do not know what they are talking about.
