Unable to create a Sitemap

I'm running PS 1.4.3

 

I've gone into the modules, under SEO and into configure Google Sitemap. When I click on the 'update sitemap file' icon, PS throws me into a page where I can see the header and menu information and nothing else. The sitemap is not generated.

 

Is there a step that i've missed here?? Thanks for your help in advance.

look in the logs of the webserver

 

OR

edit in ./config/config.inc.php

@ini_set('display_errors', 'off');

 

set

 

@ini_set('display_errors', 'on');

 

this will include the error output to the browser
