[SOLVED] New install, BO is totally empty?

Hi guys. I'm new to Prestashop and it looks wonderful. However, I did just install it on my server and everything works great except for one thing, login to the Back Office.

 

First, I entered mydomain.com/admin and it told me to delete install folder and rename the admin folder. I have done both and when I'm not trying to enter mydomain.com/adminxxx, the page is just blank, totally white. So, I'm writing mydomain.com/adminxxx/login.php and then I can see the login page. BUT, now, when I'm entering my login details and clicking the "Login" button, it just returns me to /index.php and it's all totally blank again.

 

I'm using the latest Firefox and have also tested with latest IE, but it's the same with both. Anyone got a clue about this?

First of all, welcome to PrestaShop! If you have any questions, comments or requests, I will probably be the one to ask. As for this issue, can you please try to reboot your server and see if that fixes your problem?

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your answer. My website is hosted on a friends server and I just had FTP access to it. But I met him today and told him to reboot it, and now it works great! I don't know what caused this, but anyhow, everything works as it should now
