Blocklayered wont display product list on an updated install

On a fresh install the layered navigation module works great, but after I updated my main store from 1.4.2.5 and enabled the module, all products disappear from the categories.

 

I've run out of ideas how to fix this. Having this module finally work was the only reason to update to 1.4.5.1
