maestro_cuesta
Hello, I purchased the theme Children TM34036 from the official prestashop e-shop some days ago (see the template in the link http://addons.presta...en-tm34036.html). I installed it but although I have followed every single step as the manual says, my website looks like the attached file instead of like the template. I called the Customer Service of Prestashop but they say that they can not do anything because it is a template from an external developer (eventhough I bought it in the official Prestashop e-shop !!). I wrote the external developer and did not get any answer from him.. Therefore this is really frustating and annoying because I paid 140€ for it and I can not use it. Can anyone help me here? Thanks a lot in advance.
Mike Kranzler
Hi maestro, Where exactly are you running into issues with this template? The only issue I see is the overlap between the slider and your blocks on the right side. Is there anything else causing you trouble? I think I can help you out with this relatively easily, and if not, I can probably connect you with someone who can. -Mike
maestro_cuesta
Hi Mike, thanks for your answer. The problem is that the original template has in the top of the website the "Dinosaur Train" images and the "Popular products" section. http://livedemo00.template-help.com/prestashop_34036/ In my website, I see on the top of the site the three columns composition with "Categories", "Featured products" and "Cart". This composition is located at the bottom part in the original template, and that is the way I would like mine to be configured. Maybe is something very simple, but I am not able to change it. It would be great if you can help me out here. Thanks Antonio

Mike Kranzler
Compatibility PrestaShop 1.4.0 only for this thème i see Yes, unfortunately it looks like this might be the case. If you would like, I can help you try to find an alternative theme, but this one doesn't look to be compatible with your version. -Mike
maestro_cuesta
Oh, that sucks... But does that mean that sites that had previously this theme can not upgrade to later versions? Guys, do you know if there is a way to use this theme with my version? Any modification on it that can be done? That would be great. Otherwise, I would have to find an alternative theme with a similar composition (kids website)... Thanks Antonio
Mike Kranzler
Hi Antonio, If you would like to try to update your theme, I would recommend that you download our new default theme and compare all the files to those of your theme, making changes where needed so that they match up. It may take a little bit of trial and error, but this will be the best way to update it on your own. Otherwise, let me know and I'll take a look to see what other options I can suggest. -Mike
maestro_cuesta
Thank you Mike, do you mean comparing all the .tpl files that are in the folder 'themes'? Is there an easy way to do that? Or just open and compare one by one? Sorry but I am quite new at this...
Mike Kranzler
Hi Antonio, You will actually need to compare each file individually between your theme and a compatible one. If you don't think you're up for the challenge, you can always post a request here to get help from another developer. -Mike
