Mixing never out and one of a kind items?

Is it easy to setup PrestaShop to handle both items that are never out of stock and one of a kind items?

 

I want to have the one of a kind items either just self delete or hide or move to a sold out category so I won't have to go in and twiddle all that manually.

 

I'm currently using ZenCart, and more and more wishing the friend who recommended it to me had not done that!

 

If this is easy, heck, if it's even *possible* (which it doesn't seem to be with ZC) that will very likely having me setting up PrestaShop in parallel to my ZC setup so I can get PayPal hooked up and all the other stuff so I can then just swap it over quickly.

Everything is possible...

It shouldn't be too hard to hide out of stock items, or make a little hack to disable them when they run out.

Has someone already done such "a little hack"? I don't know PHP and all that other stuff. I just want to put stuff on my site to sell.

 

I don't have the time or inclination to learn web coding etc, I gave up on programming and the like some 20 years ago. I also don't have the extra $$ to pay someone to do my site for me, which I why I set it up with free software.

 

I posted this same question on the ZenCart forum, no answer yet.

I don't know if anyone has created such a modification, you can search the forum some more, or wait to see if someone else who may have done it will post here.

 

You can always manually remove those products, which will be free...
