out of stock notification

hi - is it possible to track what items have been tagged by customers for notification when an out of stock item is back in stock? this would help with stock management.

Hmmm what I really mean is - when mail alert is set to notify a customer when an out of stock item is back in stock - and the customer requests email notification - is it possible to have the merchant notified at the same time? - That is - have the merchant notified that a customer has requested to be notified about a particular product. Hopefully that's clearer.
