Image box size

Is there a way to have the image box fit to the actual image that I upload?

I have attached a picture of what I mean. The box is bigger than the image on the top and bottom.

You can set the image sizes in BO > Preferences > Images to whatever you like and if you chose the sizes of your images carefully, the blank space around image subject will be minimised.

 

The longer edge of the image is fit into the longer side of the dimesion specified in the BO settings for the relevant image so if you set the size 300x300 and then upload an image 800x400, 800 will be scaled to 300 with the corresponding scaling on 400, giving you lots of blank (white) space at the top and bottom.

 

Here is an example with BO settings at 300x300 for large images and the image used is 600x600.

Compare this with the same BO settings but the image used is 600x400

 

Either 'best-fit' your images to size settings or vice versa.
