burpitt
hi there.. been running (setting up) a prestashop for the last few months.. all installed fine, test emails sent and received perfectly.. set all the shop up and now none of the emails work..! I believe i have all the emails configured correctly, and have test SMTP & PHP to no luck. my host is hostgator if thats of consequence and the shop mail is set to [email protected] (the shop domain is www.exclusedesignerwear.com).I've tried commenting out the class/mail.php line 64 mail timeout line, and also adding it back in with 60 seconds.. but neither seems to have made a difference.. the mails just dont get through!! I was one 1.0 but I've upgraded to 1.1 in an effort to get this working, still no luck..any suggestions or help to get this sorted would be very much appreciated!!thanks

burpitt
right here was the problem.. even though the contact form emails where specified as ***@exclusedesignerwear.com & ***@f2s.com because the site email was set as [email protected], the phpmail form was still being hindered by hostgators spam checks.. so in order to fix the problem, I simply had to change the site email from ***@yahoo.com so it wasn't seen as a phpmail form spam send..! as soon as i changed it to [email protected] it worked fine!hope this helps someone!!!
