peanut
Hi So I decided to move hosts, from a free web host to Host Gator....and I used Host Gator's transfer to moves all my files & folders but manually moved my db...so here is how it happened: 1. Auto transfer of my PS folder 'STORE' and index file from root of old host to HostGator's public_html folder. 2. I fixed permissions on all directory/files as per PS's installation requirements. 3. I created new db at Host Gator, backed up the db from my BO at the old host, then imported that backup db file into my new db at host gator. 4. I made changes to settings.inc.php under 'config' to reflect the new db name, username and password. (do I need to do anything to db prefix? Host gator did not have any prefix option while creating db). Now my problem is I don't know if have the 'public_html' is affecting the process, when I try to access my bo I get this error: Path is not the same between your browser and you server : - Server: home/domain/public_html/Store/admin/login.php - Browser: ~domain/Store/admin/login.php And it won't let me login. My FO is not displaying properly, with text all over & images missing. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? This is P.S.1.3.6 Thanks
