actinic migration to prestashop

I have a client with an actinic site with 2000 products. Having been using prestashop for a short while now I am seriously impressed with the SEO results and wondered if prestashop could handle 2000+ products and also is there a standard migration route from actinic to prestashop or is this difficult (bear in mind I am not some hard core coder or PHP wizard, just a lowly designer - so your idea and my idea of difficult may be different)?

2000+ products is not problem. I developed site with 30 000 products.

 

I don't know actinic but if it is just about import products it should be sufficient export and SQL import to PrestaShop.

Hi did you have any luck at importing your Actinic categories and products into Prestashop?

 

I am trying to do the same but I am having trouble.

I am also trying to move my Actinic V9 site to prestashop. Is there an easy way out there to do it or a company to pay to have it done.
