stevebob
I have a site that is still running 1.2.4.0 Does anyone have any advice as to whether I should attempt an upgrade, or would it be best to just start over from scratch? If I were to upgrade, should I do it in several steps/versions or just try to upgrade to the latest? Any advice appreciated. Thanks
Mike Kranzler
Hi Steve, We always recommend upgrading to the latest version to take advantage of new features, such as updated modules (the new version of Layered Navigation, for example) and security patches to continue to give you the best e-commerce experience. Unfortunately, our new AutoUpgrade module is only compatible with version 1.3 and above, so you will have to do a manual upgrade following the instructions here. Let me know if you have any questions! -Mike
stevebob
Thanks, Mike I'll give the manual upgrade a go and take it from there.
