assign carrier to a product

Hey Guys

 

I have a little predicament I need help with, please take note of the following.

I have added a carrier with free shipping that starts at 999.00 which is great for most of our products which are small less than 1kg each. However I do have some very large products that weigh around 500kg ea and need to use a different carrier at a cost to the purchaser. I have set up the two carriers in the shipping tab as well as their weight ranges. My default carrier has a max range of 50kg and I have set the product weight above that but it still selects the default carrier.

 

Can I use price range as well as weight range?

 

Thanks, any assistance would be great. Maybe there is a shipping module outthere that might help!
