site very slow at times

Hi Ive had my shop going for a month or two, Im at the stage where I am loading products so I have to click around on the site and in the BO all day. Im noticing it goes very slow at times.

 

Its not my internet connection thats fine. The rest of my website thats hosted seems fine too, although sometimes the BO screen goes blank for a bit, I loose any unsaved info and then the whole site is really slow for a bit.

Ive seen lots of different posts on ideas but wondered if anyone could take a look and see what you think: http://idoityourself.com.au/shop

Occasionally I get the "Safari couldn't open this page" come up it takes so long. Then suddenly everything will go along fine for a while.

Any suggestions?

Does anyone have an ideas? Ive read other posts on problems if you have lots of categories but I didn't understand any of the suggestions.
