Customization upload images reload page issue

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

For one of ours shop we need to customization upload images and text. Is easy to set up that part and all work ok. Also we have some product customization drop down which is change the price after you select them.

I notice, after the costumer change the price by adding the attribute, and after that he upload an image or put a text and save them, after reloading the page the price is set up as is with no attribute, and the costumer not always see that.

I'll put some pics with an explanation.

In the fist pic you can see the page before costumer add an attribute to the product.

Here is the pic after costumer chouse an attribute and the price is changed accordinaly.

And here is after the costumer upload an image.

So, after costumer upload the image, which is work corectly, and the page reloads, the price is set up with no attribute and is set up default.

As you can see the price was 40 then 55 and after image upload is set up again to 40. Not all costumers undestend and see that and they add the product to cart with the default price.

I dont know if there is some workaround about this issue, but i hope someone can really help me coz is verry need it.

Thanks

Marius

This issue also happens with the default install of latest version i.e. after some product customization already selected features are not preserved and reverted to default. You could file an improvement request at the tracker, until then changing the text "After saving your customized product,..." above/below the customization fields to something else that will remind about features reverting to default may help. FWIW, I agree that they should be preserved.

Well, it has only been 24hrs since you filed it, give it a little time. There is no guarantee that it will be done or done anytime soon. If you want it pronto, you may need to hire someone to do it for you.

That's why i said, is nothing happen :)

Sure is no guarantee to be fixed anytime soon, and for sure i'll do it for me. In fact the work is on progress. And be sure after is finished and tested acordinaly, i'll post the solution here.
