Fatal error when trying to save or add a new address

Recommended Posts

I have a problem with changing the address from FO. When I hit "Save" it redirects me to /address.php showing blank white page with only "Fatal error" text in top left corner.

Besides, I'm getting a warning message in front office when i add a new address which is Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in public_html/classes/AddressFormat.php on line 448.

Base on the problem i listed above i suspect it is I think it might be the configuration problem or a bug which is situated in Back Office > Shipping > Countries > Address Layout but i'm not sure whats wrong with the configuration.

Previously i think i had make changes on it but i forget which one. Can i have the default address layout format from anyone of you?

I could if I knew what changes you made to what files, tables. If you are sure it is due to the address layout changes you made under the tab Back Office > Shipping > Countries > Address Layout, then you could revert the prefix_address_format table to default using the sql file from the installation zip you used. Requires access to your database and the relevant section of the installation SQL file. If you think that is your problem let me know and I will talk you through step-by-step.

I did not make any changes in my database before. Besides i'm not sure is it the problem but i would like to try to revert it. The problem is how to revert the address layout? Can you explain to me step by step? Revert will not cause any problem right?

OK

Can you explain to me step by step?

Will do. What sort of access you have to your DB? e.g. phpMyAdmin, or console access.

Revert will not cause any problem right?
Not the revert of address layout table though you would, as is the case with any DB modification, make a complete backup of your DB first
