Snade
Hello What compatibility issues we should expect with the 1.4 modules. There are a lot of good modules for 1.4 out there, will they work? When we should expect the svn for 1.5(without much accuracy, just for orientation), and can you post a full feature list with it(maybe plus some insights about the features like in the other 2 post), so we can try out all the new things before the rc release ? Best regards
Raphaël Malié
Hello Snade, I asked today to other developpers to create topic about features they are working on. They will do it in the next few days (or I'll kick some ass in the open space if they don't ).
OC2PS
So...it's a win-win eitherway

tgaborovic
Hi, One question about 1.5 - we are interested in multishop feature. Is there a One database for all shop or unique databases for all shops? We are under development of a virtual multimarket and waiting for 1.5. Thanx Tomi
Fabien Serny
Hi all, Do not worry, module 1.4 will be retrocompatible with 1.5. You can check this topic : http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/136318-suggestions-for-modules-in-15/ @tgaborovic, there will be only one database with id_shop in every table which need it
OC2PS
there will be only one database with id_shop in every table which need it Will this be added to the tables only after the admin creates a 2nd shop? That's what I took away from Carl's comment: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/120907-15-with-multistore-dont-do-it/page__view__findpost__p__597571
Fabien Serny
Nope, if you read carefully you'll see that Carl was only talking about the user experience (he was not talking about code or database). What the point to add field in database when the merchant enable an option ? We do this during the installation of the update of the shop. Do not worry, the code is not more complicated. I think there is the SVN link posted somewhere, I think the best is to take a look by yourself If you want to discuss about it with the developer in charge, you should ask to Raphael Malie, he is the one in charge of the multishop (and he is like you : not a fan of Smarty )
OC2PS
My concern is performance. If every query has a little bit added to it, that adds up to quite a bit. It's even worse if there are additional queries.
Fabien Serny
No there will not be additionnaly queries, for what I saw, if the option is not enabled, there is no join table made
